Holiday Cards
Recently, we made Holiday Cards to exchange as a surprise with a class down the hall (Chloe’s). It’s a great activity that involves a lot of paper and glue. It’s different from other projects because we are supposed to keep it secret and because we sometimes send spies down to the other room to find information on the person we are making the cards for, such as their favourite colour, their hobbies, their favourite school subjects etc. It’s one of my favourite activities all year. It’s a good way to get people to know each other better. I’m glad that people are so devoted to making the best they can and I think that large families could do them for each other. That is how close and friendly people were, I could actually compare it to a family!

I could literally smell the holiday spirit in the air as our class constructed the many colourful cards with their different mountings, borders and artwork. I think that the people receiving the cards will be impressed.
I loved making my holiday card Jr. fruitcake. I wish I could have finished earlier though. Nice blog post.
I thought this was a great way to get to know other people around our classes and it was also interesting that we also got to send (or be) spies to get information for ourselves and classmates…
I am so sad that I can not do these again next year! Because I am going to french immersion.
