A city divided into areas for Pretties and for Uglies.  An operation that alters more than appearance.

That was the story line of our recently finished Read Aloud novel.  We all enjoyed the book and I’m pretty sure it stirred thoughts about how our city works and the Democracy that it is based on.

Read aloud is a favourite time for many Division 16 alumni.  It is a good time to relax and listen.  We can usually sketch while listening.  But back to the book.  It was a thrilling story with lots of action and just enough going on to keep your brain working.  I recommend the book, especially as a Read Aloud.
