French – Restaurant Menu Project
Our end-of-term French assignment was to create a realistic menu and a restaurant name in French. We came up with sumptuous and enjoyable dishes after an informative session in class teaching us vocabulary for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and drinks. Some children came up with ridiculous names for their restaurant. Here are some of their names:
L’avocado
Pour la Mansion de Tyronie
La Petit Papillon Mange Rose Bonbons
Banane
Our French Teacher, Nik, was very impressed at our artistic minds on our menus, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Our criteria consisted of 2 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 3 dinners with sides, 3 desserts and 5 drinks at a minimum. We started our drafts, created our good copies with the menu in French. After we printed the good copy, we decorated the menu with drawn artwork, either to impress the reader or to show the menu items.
In all, we thought that this was a great experience, one worth sharing and enjoying.
