Recently, Grade sixes in our class and all across the school got immunizations for diseases like Varacella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B and C and HPV shots (for girls only). We had to wait 15 minutes after the shots. Also we had very kind nurses help make it less scary and they gave us squeezy toys to help us deal with the stress. A lot of the grade sevens told us scary things like: “the needle is very large and will go through your arm”. Some people were scared up to the point that it hurt more because they were scared so much. Most people had 2-4 shots. We had to stand in line and we got our shots in A-Z order by last name. Overall, people had an OK time and get their shots for safety.
