2 weeks ago, Michelle Bonner came to our class to talk about the environment and our waterways. She talked about how our glaciers are melting causing water to rise. She gave interesting examples as to water dropping in droughts as well.
Michelle simplified some aspects and briefly explained the carbon cycle and how we are unbalancing it. Our class now understands better the way that global warming is causing water to rise in the ocean and drop in the rivers and streams. I appreciated her visit and learned a lot. It was helpful to have someone as knowledgeable as her talk to us.
